This is a photo of Alex and his Karate Bear. Alex likes to act that as though he's a Very Big Boy now that he's six, but it's moments like this one that remind me of how little and sweet he is. He loves his stuffed animals and sleeps with a mountain of them. This one is special because when you squeeze his hand, the bear says, in Frank's voice, "Thank you for making me, Alexander. I love you." Sometimes when he rolls over on the bear at night, we hear that voice emanating from his room.
This photo makes me think, "Thank you for making us parents, Alexander. We love you."
Happy Love Thursday, everyone!
