This is my favorite photo of Alexander from our trip to Easter Island. The perspective makes him appear nearly as big as the moai, which are actually at huge in comparison. Our family has a tradition of standing in front of statues and posing like them.
This is one of the few moai in a seated position. It also had a more rounded head that most of the others.
It wasn't easy to get Alexander to stand still long enough to get this pose. This guy was just standing out in field by himself.
Here's proof that I was actually in Easter Island. Very little photographic evidence exists, since I'm normally behind the camera.
